About Wet Scrubbers

Unlike conventional dry dust collection systems, Wet Scrubbers utilize a specially designed scrubbing chamber where contaminated exhaust gases come into intimate contact with a scrubbing liquid, typically water or a chemical solution. As the polluted gas passes through the scrubber, dust particles are captured while harmful gases and soluble contaminants are absorbed, neutralized, or chemically reacted with the scrubbing media. The cleaned gas then passes through a high-efficiency mist eliminator (demister), which removes entrained moisture before the purified air is safely discharged into the atmosphere.
